English as a FOREIGN Language – GREAT MISSION OPPORTUNITY

EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE ESL TRAINING, YOU MAY BE INTERESTED IN THE English as a Foreign Language (EFL) TRAINING.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to teach English when participating in a mission trip overseas. It is a great tool that can open doors to sharing the Gospel in a natural way. This “English as a Foreign Language” workshop is totally focused on training you to be able to do that. The workshop will be held at:

Help us pack shoeboxes with gifts for children around the world in the name of Jesus.  This is a wonderful way for your family to reach out to other families and introduce them to Christ. Begin collecting items listed on the flyers on the information table. We’re planning a Shoebox Packing Party in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, November 7, from 10AM-Noon. We’ll head to the Dollar Tree and allow children to do their own shopping and return to the church to enjoy snacks as we prepare the boxes.

At the young age of 50 you qualify as a senior adult at New Song. This is a potluck lunch for good food and fellowship immediately following the worship service. Bring a main dish to share and a dessert.
